This easy recipe is a staple in our home. The measurements given are based on what my kids like, so tweak this to your families taste and if you find yourself giving it a tasty twist...

.....Or if you've got your own fabulous tuna recipe; a casserole, a melt, or another tuna salad, that your kids LOVE, please share it with us using this easy form.

FFM's Favorite Tuna Salad Recipe

You will need:
  • 12 oz can of Tuna
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion finely diced
  • 2 hard boiled eggs chopped
  • 2 Tbl parsley flakes
  • Celery Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp spicy brown mustard (optional)

Combine the tuna, diced onions, chopped eggs, parsley and mayo, blending with a fork to help break up the tuna chunks.

Add celery salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Add the celery salt a little at a time because it tends to be saltier than plain salt.

Add the mustard if you want a little extra kick.

This is the basic easy tuna salad recipe. To this you can add different things (raisins, cherry tomatoes, relish, slivered almonds) according to taste. Add cooked macaroni to make it a hearty tuna pasta salad, or serve it on a bed of lettuce with shredded cheddar. My kids love it on wheat bread with Sun Chips on the side.

What's YOUR family's favorite tuna recipe?

If you've got a tuna recipe that your kids love, take a moment and share it. It's easy, and when you're done you'll have a page on FFM that you can email, blog or Facebook to your family and friends!
