Frugal Holiday Candies

by Amelia
(USA)

If you have chocolate molds, simply melting chocolate chips and pouring in molds makes festive and delicious holiday candies.

Cover a piece of cardboard with shiny paper and place candies on top.

Cover with cellophane wrap and a nice ribbon and you have an inexpensive and delicious gift for teachers, neighbors, etc.

...all kinds of baking chips go on sale around the holidays.

Chocolate chips are a great alternative to those candy melts. Plus, I believe you have to buy flavored oils in order to make them taste like anything.

Thanks for this frugal treat idea!
