Frugal Recipes for Active Families

Our list of Frugal Recipes is a combination of kids recipes, cheap recipes and super simple recipes. All intended to be quick to prepare for either you or the kids, and be very wallet friendly. Oh...and all good eats.

My kids always eat better when they've helped prepare the meal.

We also have a lot of good conversations and a lot of laughs around our kitchen table, either while making these simple recipes, or eating the kids recipes they make themselves. I've also found that a great way to introduce my kids to new flavors, and seasonings is to let them add those ingredients themselves. If they helped cook it, they want to eat it.
