Make Homemade Pizza to Please Every Taste

One of our favorite weekend meals is when we make homemade pizza. This isn't about making the dough and grating the cheese. It's about a fast, easy way for everyone to sit around the table and have fun making their own personal pizza just they way they want it.

Ingredients

  • 6" french bread sub rolls (Each roll makes two pizzas)
  • Small flour tortillas

The rolls and tortillas will make either french bread or thin crusts so the amounts you will need will depend on how many people you are feeding.

  • A jar of pizza sauce (This also comes in cans)
  • Mozzarella Cheese (1lb shredded should be plenty for a family of 4 cheese lovers with some to spare)

Toppings
These can be whatever you want. Put each topping in a small bowl.

  • Pepperoni (Turkey pepperoni if you want to keep it healthy)
  • Diced Bell Pepper
  • Diced Onion
  • Ham
  • Mushrooms
  • Diced Tomato
  • Olives
  • Pineapple

The list can go on adding whatever you like. I try to mix it up and always add something different or new to encourage my kids to try a new taste.

  • Preheat the oven to 350. Put all the ingredients out on the table and give everyone a plate.
  • Everyone can use either half a roll or a flour tortilla for the crust.
  • Spread on about 2 Tblp. of sauce and then let your kids add whatever toppings they like.

This is basically a no-brainer way to make homemade pizza but it's easy, inexpensive and it's fun when everybody is sitting around the table passing toppings back and forth and talking while making their homemade pizzas.

Once everyone has their pizzas just they way they want them, place them on a no-stick baking sheet and bake until cheese is melted, bubbly and golden on the edges.
