Pass The Royal Slipper

For this game all you need is a glass slipper (novelty or party store), or a formal high heel shoe and some prettily wrapped prizes. --Tissue paper and curly ribbon can do the job.

Have guests sit in a circle and play some party music .

Guests pass the slipper around the circle until the music stops.

The guest holding the slipper when the music stops gets a prize.

Pin the Kiss on the Prince

You will need:

  • A poster of a "Prince" - A popular teen heart throb will work for tween girls. For younger girls any coloring book Prince should work. Just copy the sketch onto a larger sheet of paper.
  • Some red and pink paper lip cutouts
  • A scarf to use as a blindfold

Hang your Prince on the wall.

Give each Princess a set of lips with double-sided tape on the back or a rolled piece of tape.

One at a time, blindfold each Princess; spin her gently then point her in the direction of the Prince.

After each Princess takes her turn write her intials on her lips.

The Princess who gets her lips closest to the Princes wins.

Princess party games are easy to customize. This game can also be played with a poster of a frog. Pin the Kiss on the Frog. This is really cute especially if you're having a Disney Princess And The Frog Party.

Find the Poison Apple

Princesses have to try and find the poison apple so no one will eat it by mistake. To make this game even more fun hide more than one poison apple.

You will need:

  • A bag of green apples (more depending on the size of the guest list)
  • At least one (but it's more fun with more) red apple

Hide the apples all around the party space. If weather permits do this outside.

The red apples are the "poison" apples.

The Princesses who save the party from the "poison" apples get a prize.

Ariel's (Mermaid) Race to Atlantis

These princess party games can be based on the Princess of your choice.

You will need:

  • Lot of green crepe paper streamers

This game can be played as teams or individuals.

Wrap each Princesses legs in streamers from her knees to her ankles.

Mermaids start at Atlantis then race (hop) across the room, where they have to pick up a seashell and race it back to Atlantis.

The first mermaid back to Atlantis wins.

Make sure the crepe paper isn't wrapped too tightly in case a mermaid takes a fall.

Royal Freeze Ball

Some great Disney Princess Party Music makes this royal version of Freeze Dance lots of fun.

Have Princesses strike a royal pose every time the music stops. Anyone who moves before the music starts again is out.

Last one standing gets a prize.

Magic Mirrors

You will need:

  • One medium to small hand mirror for each Princess - The Dollar Store sells these.
  • Permanent markers
  • Stickers, Sequins, Glitter, Ribbons and other embellishments
  • Tacky Glue

Before the party write each Princesses name on a mirror.

Set up a table with all the embellishments and let each Princess decorate her mirror.

These make great take home favors.

Each of my daughters has done this at parties and loved it.

Royal Jewels

You will need:

  • Lots of colorful plastic beads, and stringing materials

Purchasing several beading kits is usually the easiest and most frugal way to supply this activity.

Before the party create a sample necklace and bracelet set.

Set these samples out with the beads and let each Princess create her own Royal Jewels using the samples as a guide.

Sugar Cube Castles

This is an unusual and whimsical party activity that your Royal guests will love!

You will need:

  • Sugar Cubes - available in 1 lb boxes.
  • White decorator icing in tubes
  • Colorful candies to decorate the castles EX: Red Hots, Gumdrops, M&M's...
  • Small cardboard squares to use as a base for each castle (7"x7" is a good size for small castles)
  • Aluminum Foil

Before the party cover each cardboard base with foil. Make sure there is one base for each Princess.

This is another activity where it's a good idea to create a finished sample ahead of time.

Using the icing as glue, use the sugar cubes to build a simple castle on the cardboard base.

Use candies to decorate the finished product then let dry. This is a nice activity to do early in the party so that castles have a chance to set and dry before being carried home.

Tiara Boutique

You can't have Princess party games without Tiaras and wands.

Pre-cut cardboard tiaras and stars can be covered in foil then embellished with stickers, glitter, and ribbons.

Stars can be attached to unsharpened pencils or plastic straws to create an instant wand.

You can also use a Tiara With Wand Craft Kit that comes complete with everything you'll need for a royal court.

Either way, your Princesses will look like a million bucks!
