Valentine Cake Walk This variation of a traditional cake walk is surprisingly fun for teens as well as little kids. The secret to lots of enthusiasm for this as a party game is the prizes. Use small goody bags or trinket type prizes instead of full blown cakes and desserts.
You will need:- Several poster boards in pink and red.
- Music you can start and stop
- An assortment of prizes
- Divide the poster boards in quarters and cut a heart from each piece. This will give you four hearts for each poster board.
- Number each heart. Try to make about 3 or 4 more than the number of quests you expect.
- Use masking tape to stick the hearts to the floor in a circle. Make sure they can be stepped on without coming up or moving.
- Number slips of paper equal to the number of hearts on the floor and put them in a container that you can shake and draw from. A shoebox is good for this.
Have each player stand on a heart then start the music. Players march around the circle until the music stops. Everyone should be standing on a heart. Draw a number from your box. The player standing on that heart wins a prize. Do this several times throughout the party to give everyone lots of chances to win.
